Becci joined MRN in April 2026, bringing 16 years of extensive costs law expertise to the team. Dual-qualified as both a Costs Lawyer and a CILEX professional, Becci has built a costs career across personal injury, clinical negligence, and housing disrepair claims. At MRN, her role focuses on the Paying Party side, where she specialises in assessing and advising on receiving party bills and schedules, managing negotiations, and preparing Points of Dispute (PODs).

Becci is driven by a passion for the analytical, problem-solving nature of costs law. She approaches every file with meticulous scrutiny to ensure that all costs claimed are reasonable, proportionate, and strictly compliant with procedural rules.

For Becci, costs work is about more than just numbers! It is a vital mechanism that impacts litigation risk, financial sustainability, and access to justice. By combining a razor-sharp eye for detail with a strategic, commercial mindset, she ensures her clients never overpay on costs.

Whether she is helping out on the school PTA, rushing between dance, swimming, and toddler rugby lessons, or planning family days out, she masterfully balances her professional drive with being a present, engaged mum. In the rare moments she gets to herself, Becci loves diving into a gripping crime thriller, watching true crime documentaries, or enjoying a board game night!
