Aaron began his career in legal costs in 2007; since then, he has developed a wealth of experience across a broad range of practice areas, specialising in commercial litigation costs, but is equally comfortable with arbitration, shipping, clinical negligence, and personal injury.

Having worked with many commercial litigation departments, Aaron has developed a keen sense for identifying the concerns and priorities of solicitors acting in complex, high-value proceedings, and tailors his approach to best serve the needs of each client. Aaron is mindful of the commercial realities faced by parties to litigation and provides pragmatic, clear advice to enable clients to make informed decisions and understand the benefits or risks posed by any given situation.

In addition to his extensive experience in the High Court, Aaron has acted in detailed assessment proceedings in the UK Supreme Court. He has also worked with Dubai-based lawyers, having been instructed in detailed assessment proceedings in the Dubai International Financial Centre on several occasions.

Aaron takes a particular interest in costs budgeting; he is proficient in data analysis techniques and leverages his technology skills to bring a scientific approach to the art of forecasting, continually refining his methodology to produce reliable, accurate estimates.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys target shooting at his local rifle range.
