Jason was called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn before specialising in legal costs. He spent several years working for a national costs company as a Senior Costs Negotiator, before practising as a self-employed costs draftsman for a period of 15 years. Jason joined MRN in November 2024 and is a member of the Court of Protection team.

His role at MRN involves drafting Bills of Costs, preparing detailed letters of advice, and liaising closely with clients to take instructions and provide technical guidance. Once a Bill has been assessed, he reviews the outcome and provides clear, practical post-assessment advice to clients.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and has a strong interest in sport, particularly football and cricket. He plays football regularly and maintains an active lifestyle.
